REMEMBER
Payment is made when you order your card, and it can be done with most payment cards. You can also set up an automatic renewal agreement, which ensures that new periods are added to the Youth Card automatically.

There is a delivery time of approximately 14 days. Once you have received your card, you can order new periods at MitUngdomskort.dk. Periods are transferred to your Youth Card when you check in with it.

You may be asked for ID, so remember to bring your health card, driver's license, or equivalent when travelling with us.

More about Youth Card

You can see the current prices and discounts on ungdomskort.dk

You can order your Youth Card on ungdomskort.dk. There are two steps in the ordering process if you are a student and only one step if you are between 16-19 years old and not in education.

Step 1 – Only for students
You need to start by applying for approval to get a Youth Card by clicking on "Step 1 - Bliv godkendt til Ungdomskort".

Step 2 – For everyone
Once approved, you can order your Youth Card on mitungdomskort.dk (the site is in Danish). If you are between 16-19 years old and not in education, you can order your Youth Card on mitungdomskort.dk without approval.

You need to have the following ready when ordering your Youth Card:

  • An active email address that you check regularly
  • A MitID in your own name. If you do not have MitID, you can order it at MitID.dk
  • A valid payment card

You can pay for a Youth Card in two ways - automatic payment or one-time payment, where you pay for the periods manually when renewing them.

If you are ordering a Youth Card for the first time, you must pay no later than 10 days before the validity period begins. You will receive an email/text when you need to pay.

Payment agreement with Dankort, MasterCard, and Visa - for those over 18
If you are over 18, you can set up a payment agreement with Dankort, MasterCard, or Visa. Your Youth Card will be renewed and paid automatically every month.

Payment agreement with Dankort, MasterCard, and Visa - for those under 18
If you are under 18, you can only pay with one-time payment or create a payment agreement through your parents/guardian. You must be 18 to set up a payment agreement yourself.

Before your parents/guardian can set up a payment agreement for your Youth Card, they must create a shared payment agreement on Rejsekort.dk.

One-time payment
If you do not have a MasterCard, Dankort, or Visa, or simply want to pay manually from renewal to renewal, you can make one-time payments with all types of payment cards. We will send you a text 5 days before your period expires so you can order a new.

You must make the one-time payment no later than 30 hours before the new period begins, and then you must check in with the card to complete the renewal.

If you have automatic payment or renewal and get a new payment card, remember to update your payment details at MitUngdomskort.dk.

If your periods are paid through your parents/guardians' shared payment agreement, and they get a new payment card, they must update their payment details on the self-service on rejsekort.dk.

If the payment fails because the payment card has expired or been blocked, we will send you an invoice, which you must pay. You cannot use your Youth Card in periods, that are not paid for. In that case, you must pay for your transport in another way. When the status for the period is "issued" on MitUngdomskort.dk, the period is paid, and you can use your Youth Card again.

If you are attending a youth education, you can choose to have your Youth Card in July. You must choose July no later than June 15th on your profile on MitUngdomskort.dk.

If you have chosen July but changed your mind, you can cancel it no later than June 19th on MitUngdomskort.dk.

If you are going on an internship in North Jutland in connection with your education, you can still use your Youth Card. If you are going on an internship outside North Jutland, you need an internship card as a supplement to your Youth Card.

How to get an internship card:

  • Log in to ungdomskort.dk.
  • Go to Step 1 and click on "Bliv godkendt til Ungdomskort"
  • Apply for approval regarding your internship location.

Once you have applied for approval, you can order a Youth Card on MitUngdomskort.dk, covering the entire internship period.

After ordering and paying for the Youth Card, you can order an internship card for the distance between your residence and your internship location.

The delivery time for an internship card is 14 days, so apply well in advance before your internship starts. If you choose to get your internship card in DSB's app, the delivery time is only 4 days.

If you lose your Youth Card, you must order a replacement card on MitUngdomskort.dk.

If you have an active period on your Youth Card, it will automatically be transferred to the replacement card.

Since you have paid for the period where you are missing your Youth Card, we can issue a temporary Youth Card so you don't have to buy a ticket while waiting for the replacement card. To get it, you must contact us by telephone at +45 99 34 11 30

Paused
If your periods are on "pause", it's because you haven't ordered a Youth Card in a period. If this is an error, log in to MitUngdomskort.dk and add the periods you want. Do this under the "Dine ungdomskort" (Your Youth Cards) tab, where you click "Ændre perioder" (Change periods).

Remember to press "Gem" (Save) after adding the periods you want. The first date you can choose will be 5 days in the future.
