It's annoying to lose your belongings. Therefore, we regularly check buses, trains, and flex vehicles for lost items. Found items are either handed over to the NT Sales and Service Center or stored on the bus or with the operator.

If the bus travels to/from Aalborg, lost and found items are generally handed over to NT Sales and Service Center. The same goes for lost items from trains. Otherwise, they are usually stored on the bus or with the operator.

When are found items handed in?
Bus
Found items from buses traveling to and from Aalborg are handed over to NT Sales and Service Center after 1-2 business days.
Train
Found items from trains are handed over to NT Sales and Service Center on Tuesdays.
Can you send my lost item to me?
Lost and found items must be picked up in person.
How long are the found items stored?
We store found items, assessed to be worth at least 500 DKK, for 7-14 days. After that, we hand them over to the police.
We store found items, assessed to be worth less than DKK 500, for 28 days. After that, they are handed over for recycling or destroyed.
Compensation for lost items
The rules for compensation are stated in the Joint National Travel Regulations.
